Dr. Daniel Bernstein, esteemed Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of Kansas, is a distinguished figure in the field of education and psychology. He obtained his Doctorate in Psychology from the University of California at San Diego, following his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stanford University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bernstein has made significant contributions to academia and teaching excellence. From 2002 to 2014, he served as the Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at the University of Kansas, where his visionary leadership fostered innovation and advanced pedagogical practices.
Dr. Bernstein's commitment to exceptional teaching earned him numerous accolades, including being a charter member of the University of Nebraska Academy of Distinguished Teachers and recognition as a Carnegie Scholar in 1998.
A trailblazer in the field, Dr. Bernstein has held prestigious positions, including the presidency of the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and the Society for the Experimental Analysis of Behavior.
